Community Medication Support Program

The Community Medication Support Program (CMSP) is a joint effort involving the state-operated and -contracted psychiatric hospitals, the Community Mental Health Centers, this department and local pharmacies (see Related Links).
The overall goal of the program is to assist consumers who have a severe mental illness and have no other means of purchasing medications to obtain prescribed psychotropic medication. Prescriptions are filled at local pharmacies. The program is available in all 14 community mental health center regions (see Related Links).
