About the Kentucky Prevention Network
The Kentucky Prevention Network (KPN) envisions a state free from substance use/misuse and related consequences and values the overall well-being of Kentucky residents.
KPN supports and advocates for data-driven decisions and evidence-informed practices for effective alcohol, tobacco and other substance use/misuse prevention strategies, resources and programs.
KPN promotes collaboration among prevention professionals, volunteers, community members, and other stakeholders in the interest of a healthy commonwealth. KPN utilizes the Strategic Prevention Framework and risk and protective factors from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
