The Kentucky School of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies (KSAODS) is held annually. Each year, more than 800 Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio professionals from the alcohol and drug treatment, mental health, prevention and other related fields gather to hear from national and state leaders on the up-and-coming theories of practice in the behavioral health world.
Mark your calendars now for the 45th annual Kentucky School for Alcohol and Other Drug Studies, tentatively scheduled for July 2226, 2018, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

KSAODS begins on Sunday afternoon with a participant check-in period, followed by an opening plenary session. Day-long workshops begin Monday morning after an opening plenary session, and KSAODS follows that format each day through Thursday.
Also included is the annual awards banquet on Tuesday evening, at which individuals and agencies are honored with awards for their work in the areas of treatment, prevention, volunteerism, community service, and lifetime achievement. An inspirational speaker shares experiences in the substance abuse field at this event.
Certificates of Attendance and CEUs are available for a variety of professional licensure boards, and a limited number of scholarships are available for Kentucky residents.
