Adult Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Services Branch
The Adult Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Services Branch is composed of several special initiatives and programs, including KIDS NOW Plus, Medication Assisted Treatment, Oxford Houses, military and Driving Under the Influence (DUI) services.
The branch oversees the Federal Block Grant funds which are distributed to the Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) to provide substance abuse services statewide.
Evidence-based practices are required to ensure that CMHCs are providing quality treatment services to clients. Staff are currently working with CMHCs to improve the process of collecting data on clients served and establishing outcome measures.
